WCT Nutty Granola Yogurt Parfait Recipe

Benefits of Greek Yogurt:

Greek yogurt has definitely made a name for itself in the past couple of years, and that's because it has double the protein, half the carbs, and half the sodium than regular yogurt. Despite this, Greek yogurt still tastes just as good if not better. Additionally, it is an excellent source of calcium, potassium, zinc, vitamin B6 and B12, and probiotics which maintain the presence and growth of ‘good bacteria’ in our intestines. Furthermore, Greek yogurt is prepared in a way that excess liquid is drained off, leaving consumers to enjoy a much thicker consistency making it perfect for parfaits. 

Greek-Yogurt-Recipe

Ingredients:

½ cup Greek yogurt

½ tbsp extra virgin coconut oil

1 tbsp organic peanut butter (or any type of nut butter)

¼ cup raw granola

Carbohydrates: 21g

Fat: 12g

Protein: 18g

 

Total Prep Time:

5 minutes

 

Recipe:

Step 1: Using a small glass container, add greek yogurt

Step 2: Next, add coconut oil on top of the yogurt

Step 3: Then, add raw oats or granola

Step 4: Lastly, top with peanut butter

Step 5: Store in refrigerator until desired
